Customer Terms and Conditions for Contree Wallet issued by Udio

 

Before using your Contree Wallet, please read these TERMS & CONDITIONS carefully. These Terms and Conditions are applicable for setting up and / or operations of Contree Wallet which is issued by Udio and operated as per the Terms and Conditions of the Udio Wallet in conjunction with the below mentioned additional terms.

Scope of Services:

Contree Enterprises Private Limited herein after referred to as “Partner” has tied up with TranServ as a Co-branding partner for distributing and marketing Udio Wallet to its customers, partners, agents, employees, beneficiaries or any such individuals. For this purpose of Co-branding relationship, Udio Wallet will be represented as ‘Contree Wallet– Issued by Udio’.

Customers can access Contree Wallet through an authorized digital environment of the Partner including but not limited to Mobile App, Website or a Co-branded card plastic. By agreeing to subscribe to the Contree Wallet and / or using it - the customer agrees to be bound by the below mentioned T&C

ISSUANCE OF WALLET

The Contree Wallet is issued and operated by TranServ Private Limited as per the prevailing guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India for semi-closed loop prepaid instruments. All services issued by TranServ are under the brand “Udio”

The Contree Wallet is issued by TranServ to Partner’s Customers on the request of the Customer and pursuant to the Customer making an application for registration of the Wallet and agreeing to these Terms and Conditions and other applicable terms and conditions in the manner prescribed by TranServ and Partner in this regard. Provided that the Customer has fulfilled the eligibility and KYC criteria and provided all relevant information and/or documentation request by Partner / TranServ

TranServ reserves the right to reject any application made for opening a Wallet without assigning any reason.

Nature of Product

Contree Wallet shall be issued by TranServ and marketed by the Partner. The Contree wallet can be used on mobile application to make payments for the goods and services purchased.

The Contree Wallet can be used for transactions in Indian Currency only. The wallet will allow customer to perform activities including but not limited to

Additionally, Customer shall be allowed to access the Udio Cash Balances and select Voucher Balances across all Udio Partners or as per the mutual agreement between TranServ and the Partner.

Contree Wallet Registration

In order to register, create and use Contree Wallet, the partner may require that you submit certain personal information, including but not limited to your name, mobile phone number, e-mail.

In the event the customer is already registered for Udio Wallet, OTP verification may still be required. On successful OTP verification the customer Udio wallet shall be linked to the Contree Wallet and collective customer balance shall be available.

You agree that the personal information you provide during registration and at all other times will be true, accurate, current and complete.

You agree to maintain and update this personal information to keep the personal information true, accurate, and complete. By signing up for the wallet you confirm that you are above 18 years of age.

The customer hereby acknowledges that TranServ reserves the right to seek additional factor authentication including but not limited to OTP for identity verification. TranServ reserves the sole and complete discretion to accept/reject customer registration for its wallet services.

Contree Wallet Security

For security of the wallet, Partner may authenticate transactions by password or pin or any other form as decided by the Partner, for the transactions carried out on the website and mobile application. Customer hereby agrees to abide to the security policies of TranServ and Partner.

Customer authorizes TranServ to perform activities including but not limited to loading the wallet and debiting the wallet based on the instructions received from the Partner.

In certain cases, as mutually agreed by TranServ and Partner, TranServ may additionally send OTP for transaction authentication

Customer Obligations & Covenants

Load Wallet

Contree Wallet can be loaded either via partner website/mobile application or from Udio website (www.udioforyou.com)/ or Udio mobile app. Additionally, the partner may load the Contree Wallet for refunds/reversals or as cashback

Pay using wallet balances

The wallet will allow customer to perform activities as per the mutual agreement between the TranServ and including but not limited to

Customer shall be charged fees/charges for some or all of these services as may be levied/modified by TranServ from time to time.

Customer shall be allowed to access the Udio Cash Balances and select Voucher Balances across all Udio Partner or as per the mutual agreement between TranServ and the Partner.

The customer hereby agrees to be bound by the terms & conditions for Udio Wallet as available on www.udioforyou.in and which may be updated from time to time

Disputes

In the event of any dispute between the Customer and Partner, the customer shall follow the dispute resolution mechanism followed by the Partner as available on Partner website/mobile app. TranServ shall not be responsible for the goods or services provided by the Partner and cannot be involved in any disputes between a Partner and Customer regarding the same.

Termination of wallet can be of three types:
